CADENAS' solution extends mobile manufacturer applications in an uncomplicated way

The CADENAS app survey among engineers and purchasers brought to light last year: nearly 70 percent of those respondents participating wished the 3D CAD models of the PARTcommunity download portal to be offered as an app, too. This feature has so far only been available to customers who had an individual app created by CADENAS. Now CADENAS is also offering a solution for companies that already have an app.

The new eCATALOGsolutions Viewer offers maufacturers the possibility to connect their own app with CADENAS' Viewer for 3D CAD models in a fast and simple way. The eCATALOGsolutions Viewer for the operating system iOS refers to the 3D CAD data of the manufacturer's portal which is based on CADENAS eCATALOGsolutions technology.

3D display in a customed design bring products closer to the customer

Via integration into the app of the component manufacturer, all products of the manufacturer's PARTcommunity download portal can be displayed in the eCAT Viewer as descriptive 3D graphic and offered for download in various CAD formats. Additionally there is the possibility to adjust the display of the 3D CAD model Viewer according to the manufacturer's corporate design.
