The requirements in the construction industry are continuously increasing and with them the demand for intelligent product information. CADENAS are therefore opening their own Competence Center to better support manufacturers of BIM components in the creation of structured and classified 3D BIM CAD product data.

Festo has been awarded the Golden Catalog Seal by CADENAS for its comprehensive digital 3D CAD product catalog. With the integrated product configurator Festo Design Tool 3D, automatic 2D dimensioning for CAD components and product data in 15 languages, the Festo product catalog fulfills a whole range of important criteria for receiving the quality seal.

The latest version of the BIMcatalogs.net plugin by CADENAS is now available for free in the Autodesk App Store. Architects and planners can access original, manufacturer-verified 2D & 3D BIM and CAD models directly in Autodesk® Revit® 2021 & AutoCAD® Architecture and integrate them into their designs.

AVEVA and CADENAS have joined forces to integrate the CADENAS technical search engine, 3Dfindit.com, into the AVEVA™ E3D Design system. This new plugin will provide users of AVEVA’s 3D design solution with the ability to select accurate equipment models from thousands of manufacturer catalogs and integrate them directly within their CAD software environment.

Girls were able to virtually peak over the shoulders of two female developers working in UI Design and Machine Development at CADENAS. The initiative supports the elimination of gender stereotypes in career choices.
