CADENAS presents the new version 4.0 of its 3D CAD download portal PARTcommunity. Under www.partcommunity.com engineers and purchasers can expect numerous new features, a Look & Feel that has been improved yet again and a download portal optimized for mobile devices.

The 3D Printing & 3D Model Sharing platform PARTcloud.net of the CADENAS’ PARTcommunity, which is very popular among engineers, is now available in a new version. It offers new features to the users and easier as well as faster handling.

Since October 2013, the French railway company SNCF has been using CADENAS’ Strategic Parts Management PARTsolutions in connection with their RNAS database. The web-based solution used by 700 people has helped to
reduce the number of parts by 15% in only one year.

ARI metal offers a new service to customers: the possibility to download the complete catalog with tech-nical drawings of all products, in both 3D and 2D formats, directly from CADENAS' PARTcommunity.

In cooperation with CADENAS, HellermannTyton is providing the 3D and 2D CAD data of thousands of its products for free download. By implementing this CADENAS service, the company has made it especially easy for engineers to find cable management solutions and then import the respective CAD models of these products directly into their design.
