CADENAS PARTsolutions USA is now a member of the American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA). CADENAS PARTsolutions’ membership was approved at the ABMA Annual Conference held March 15-17, 2012 in Bonita Springs, Florida, USA.

CADENAS is presenting a new highlight of their trade show entertainment package: As of now trade show visitors of CADENAS can move 3D CAD models of manufacturers by their own hand with Microsoft Kinect. Using gesture based control, Kinect for Microsoft Xbox 360 allows for the first time to control 3D CAD models on a screen by body movement without using a controller.

Bimba Manufacturing, a forward-thinking innovator of actuation technology, presented their new online 3D CAD product configurator and catalog powered by CADENAS PARTsolutions USA at the National Fluid Power Association Annual Conference March 8, 2012 in Kohala Coast, Hawaii, USA.

For the first time the 3D CAD download portal PARTcommunity by CADENAS has passed the 6 million mark of monthly downloads. In February 2012, 6,168,474 CAD models from over 300 catalogs of renowned component manufacturers were downloaded.
